Whenever anyone wants to watch any latest music videos, trailers, comedy clips, tutorials, latest news etc then the first name that strikes in our mind is YouTube. We use it almost everyday. Even after being so familiar with this site, we’re still unaware of plenty of cool tricks and hidden features of YouTube that can make our viewing experience more enjoyable and simpler.

This trick will help you to download any desired video from YouTube in audio or video format without installing third party app.

Step 1: Open the desired video in YouTube.

Step 2: In the URL, just add ss in between www. and youtube.

Step 3:When you type ss, automatically new page will get open which is download page.

Here you’ll find multiple formats. Select the desired format. Press the Download button and enjoy your favourite video 😉

2) Convert YouTube videos to GIF

If you found a YouTube video which is having a GIF-worthy moment then you can easily convert it into gif format by following the given steps:

Step 1: Open the desired video in YouTube.

Step 2: In the URL, just add gif in between www. and youtube.

Step 3: When you type gif, automatically new page will get open which is gif maker page.

From here you can easily create an animated GIF from any part of the video. Select the length of gif. Explore and use the free features. Save it and send it to your friends.

3) Autoplay feature.

Are you frustrated from those suggested videos which play automatically after the end of desired video? Well it’s because of autoplay feature. By default, it is always enabled. Just go on the extreme right of the page, and slide the auto play button. It should turn from blue to grey once you slide it. Step 1: Find your video on YouTube

Step 2: Type repeater between youtube and .com

Step 3: Press enter and enjoy your favourite video in a loop.

6) Share a video from a certain point

Instead of sharing full video from the beginning, you can skip some part and share the video from desired point.

Step 1: Pause the video at that point from where you want to share.

Step 2: Right click on the video and select “Copy video URL at current time” option to share a video to another website which starts at certain point rather than the beginning.

7) Save videos to watch later

Many times it happens that you aren’t able to turn the sound on at the moment, or perhaps you just don’t have time to watch it. So you can save videos to a “Watch Later” playlist to access whenever you want.

a) To add a video to your “Watch Later” playlist: Open the video on YouTube and click the “Add to” icon given below the video title.

b) To access those videos: Simply go to your YouTube homepage and choose “Watch Later” option from the menu.

8) See the written transcripts of people’s videos

YouTube automatically generates a written transcript for every single video uploaded to its website. Anyone has access to that transcript unless the user manually hides it from viewers.

To see a video’s transcript,open the video in YouTube and press the “More” tab (3 horizontal dots). Choose “Open Transcript” option from the drop-down menu.

NOTE: If you aren’t seeing this option, it’s because the user chose to hide the transcript.

9) Most Useful YouTube Shortcuts

K = pause or play the video
J = Rewind the video by 10 seconds
L = Fast forward the video by 10 seconds
F = For full screen
M = turn off the sound
Number 0 = jump to beginning of the video
Numbers 1 to 9 = jump between 10% and 90% of the length of the video.

10) Download Youtube Video as Mp3

You can download any YouTube Video in Mp3 format by simply replacing the word youtube with yout in the URL.

Result:After replacing it with yout, this screen will get open. Click on record Mp3 and enjoy your song in audio format.
